Job summary

Oregon Child Development Coalition (OCDC) is seeking a Regional Play & Learn Family Educator to deliver curriculum, playgroups, and caregiver coaching across five counties. The role involves creating development kits, conducting virtual and in-person activities, and supporting parents with positive parenting strategies.

Responsibilities include outreach, data collection, and collaboration with partners like PSU and the Department of Early Learning, with occasional driving across counties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• CDA certificate or college coursework in ECE preferred.
• Experience with preschool/infant-toddler settings or similar.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement curriculum and activities for children’s learning and caregiver capacity.
• Distribute development kits to 350–450 children across five counties.
• Provide virtual and in-person parent/caregiver education and coaching.
• Maintain records and reporting for program activities and evaluations.
