Job summary

Denver Regional Council of Governments (DRCOG) seeks a Program Manager to help local governments implement Metro Vision, DRCOG’s long-range plan for the Denver region. The role leads a team of planners, directs program activities, and builds partnerships with member governments and partners across the region.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, developing budgets, coordinating services, and providing expert guidance to executive leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in urban and regional planning, geography, public administration or related field.
• Five to seven years of experience with two years of supervisory experience.
• AICP certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff by prioritizing and assigning work and conducting evaluations.
• Lead the activities of a function or program, including planning and evaluating programs and policies.
• Develop and oversee budgets; monitor expenditures and allocate resources.
• Collaborate with internal and external groups; manage contracts and communications.
• Advise leadership through reviews, reports, and recommendations.
