Job summary

Jackson seeks a Regional Planning Director to promote Jackson's investment products through advanced retirement and wealth planning.

The role consults with the sales force, mentors staff, and develops strategies to close opportunities across a broad territory. Requires 8+ years in financial services sales, SIE, and Series 6/7, with travel up to 75% and a Bachelor’s degree; advanced degrees or certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial services sales or consultation.
• Expertise in estate planning, taxation, retirement plans.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong presentation and public speaking abilities.
• Ability to build relationships and network effectively.
• Willingness to travel up to 75%+.

Responsibilities

• Communicates advanced strategies concepts to wholesalers and representatives.
• Develops and manages a territory business plan to enhance sales.
• Creates marketing materials and white papers on advanced strategies.
• Trains sales desks, external wholesalers, and other staff.
• Mentors and provides guidance to less experienced consultants.
• Responds to inquiries and makes outbound calls to support sales.
• Keeps current on industry and regulatory changes.
• Leads continuing education programs.
