Job summary

Jackson in Nashville seeks a Senior Advanced Planning Strategist to consult with wholesalers, financial professionals, attorneys, and CPAs to support sales. You will conduct research and develop marketing materials, presentations, and case illustrations.

The role focuses on communicating complex retirement and wealth strategies, delivering polished presentations, and collaborating with the sales team to prospect and close business. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.
• Advanced designation (CFP, CPA, CFA, or JD) or ability to obtain CFP within 24 months of hire date required. JD preferred.
• 5+ years of financial sales, estate planning, legal practice, consultation, or equivalent required.
• FINRA SIE, FINRA Series 6 or 7 required.
• Applicants without the required registrations will have 90 days to obtain them, but will be limited in job function until complete.

Job Purpose

The Sr. Advanced Planning Strategist is responsible for consulting with and presenting to wholesalers, financial professionals, attorneys, and CPAs to support Jackson sales. Conducts research and develops marketing materials, presentations, and case illustrations.

Essential Responsibilities

Communicates complex retirement and wealth strategies to financial, legal and tax professionals and wholesalers.Regularly interfaces with financial professionals through phone and virtual meeting software.Effectively leverages PowerPoint and marketing materials to deliver sales presentations.Interfaces with sales to help prospect and close business.Works with team to develop, review, and revise presentations, marketing materials, and white papers.Conducts research to support consulting activities and the development of marketing materials.Provides training to Sales Desk employees, external wholesalers and other staff.
