Vitalant in Scottsdale, AZ seeks a Development Director to lead philanthropic fundraising across Arizona and the southwestern United States. This hybrid role requires three days onsite and two days from home, supporting vital donor engagement and major gifts to advance the foundation's mission.

You will identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward donors, develop tailored fundraising strategies, and collaborate with leadership, clinicians, and volunteers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in relevant field.
• CFRE certification preferred.
• 5–7 years of progressive nonprofit fundraising experience.

Responsabilités

• Identify, research, and qualify prospective donors to expand the donor pipeline.
• Develop and execute tailored cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies.
• Lead gift solicitations independently and with leadership and board members.
• Coordinate donor tours, site visits, and recognition events to showcase impact.
• Maintain donor database records and provide fundraising performance reports.
