Job summary

BrightSpring Health Services’ Amerita unit seeks a Pharmacy Director to oversee daily pharmacy operations, logistics, and inventory in California. You will collaborate with sales leadership to implement strategic plans and ensure high-quality patient care.

You will lead staff performance, ensure regulatory compliance, and coordinate with warehouse teams to maintain efficient deliveries and patient satisfaction. Travel to Salt Lake City 2 days per week is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or Pharm D required.
• Active pharmacist license in the state of practice.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory/management experience.
• Knowledge of home infusion and pharmacy regulations.
• Excellent organization and communication skills.
• Flexible schedule; on-call evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Oversees overall operational performance of the Amerita pharmacy.
• Ensures compliance with company policies, laws, and accreditation standards.
• Optimizes staff productivity; manages schedules and performance.
• Hires, coaches, and disciplines branch staff; sets expectations.
• Coordinates with Vertical Directors and care teams for collaboration.
