Qualificações

• Oversees delivery of hospital pharmacy services and develops policies and procedures.
• Ensures operations comply with hospital policies and regulations.
• Ensures compliance with state and federal laws and regulatory bodies (Joint Commission, EPA, FDA, DEA).
• Maintains inventory levels and orders pharmaceuticals as needed.
• Provides training and guidance to personnel to ensure quality patient care and high customer satisfaction.
• Stays current with research on new drugs and usage and coordinates with medical staff.

Responsabilidades

• Oversees all functions related to delivery of pharmacy services and develops, recommends, and implements pharmacy policies and procedures.
• Ensures pharmacy operations are compliant with hospital policies and procedures.
• Ensures pharmacy operations comply with state and federal laws and regulations.
• Ensures compliance with Joint Commission, EPA, FDA, and DEA requirements.
• Performs quarterly Pharmacy Operational Reviews with Hospital Administration.
• Leads and mentors staff to ensure quality patient care and high satisfaction.
• Maintains contact with medical and nursing staff to identify needs and resolve issues.
