Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System in Ohio seeks a Director of Pharmacy to lead regional pharmacy operations across multiple hospitals, guiding teams toward clinical excellence and safe medication practices.

You will partner with interdisciplinary leaders to shape care models, manage budgets, mentor managers, and drive quality and safety initiatives while aligning with Mount Carmel's mission within Trinity Health.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor or Doctor of Pharmacy required.
• Master of Science in Hospital Pharmacy or other advanced management degree is preferred or 10 years of experience in lieu.
• Ohio pharmacist license is required.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Excellence: develop/implement strategies for optimal patient outcomes across care transitions.
• Financial Performance: manage budgets and drive drug spend savings for the site/region.
• Culture of Medication Safety: oversee medication management and control substances.
• Managing performance: coach and develop pharmacy staff and ensure HR policy execution.
