Job summary

Zarminali Pediatrics is a growing pediatric care leader seeking a Regional Practice Manager to drive operational performance across Ann Arbor and Chelsea, Michigan clinics. You will standardize processes, optimize workflows, and partner with Medical Directors to deliver high-quality care for children.

The role emphasizes leadership of multiple sites, staff development, and a focus on patient access, experience, and financial performance, with data-led decision making across the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive healthcare operations experience.
• 3+ years leading multiple clinic locations and developing leaders (Practice Managers or equivalent).
• Proven ability to lead regional operations with accountability for staffing, operational performance, financial outcomes, patient experience, and quality metrics.
• Experience partnering with physicians, Medical Directors, and Advanced Practice Providers to improve operational performance.
• Strong business acumen with experience analyzing KPIs, labor productivity, patient access, revenue cycle, and operational performance.
• Experience supporting acquisitions, new clinic openings, integrations, or organizational growth initiatives preferred.
• Proficiency with EMR and practice management systems; athenahealth experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own operational performance across a portfolio of clinics, ensuring consistent execution and alignment with standards.
• Develop and maintain regional operating standards with site-level flexibility.
• Identify operational gaps and implement scalable solutions to improve efficiency, access, and clinic performance.
• Build infrastructure to support new openings, acquisitions, integrations, and service line expansion.
• Partner with clinic leaders on staffing, scheduling, capacity, and workflow needs across the region.
• Drive succession planning and develop a pipeline of future clinic leaders.
• Partner with People/HR on workforce planning, performance management, and complex employee relations.
• Build a culture of ownership, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Serve as strategic operational partner to Medical Directors and providers.
• Build trusted provider relationships and address opportunities impacting provider experience and performance.
• Balance provider capacity, patient demand, scheduling, and growth across the region.
• Use patient experience and access data to set regional priorities and drive measurable improvement.
• Improve patient access, appointment availability, scheduling efficiency, and continuity of care.
• Lead service recovery for escalated patient situations and identify opportunities for systemic improvement.
• Lead regional communication and change management, aligning portfolio.
• Build cohesive regional culture while respecting individual practice strengths.
• Connect clinic teams with senior leadership by elevating front-line insights.
