Job summary

Novant Health Charlotte-area clinics are seeking a Patient Services Coordinator (PSC) for our Float Pool. This full-time role provides front-office support including patient check-in/out, answering phones, and essential clerical duties across multiple outpatient sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of clerical experience in medical office preferred.
• Knowledge of medical office software for updating demographics, posting charges, copays, scheduling.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle changing priorities and multitask.
• Strong organizational, problem solving and critical thinking abilities.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work as part of a team.
• Experience with EPIC systems and payor billing knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient check-in/check-out and phone triage.
