Job summary

Neurocrine Biosciences is seeking a Regional Patient Access Manager to optimize patient access, educate HCPs and payers, and strengthen the company’s pharmacy distribution network across the U.S.

You will collaborate with field sales, market access, HUB partners, and network pharmacies; lead payer coverage training and use tools like CoverMyMeds for PA submissions. Travel up to 60% is required.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in related field with pharma/biotech experience preferred.
• Master’s or MBA preferred; PharmD/PhD can substitute for experience.
• Strong understanding of specialty pharmacies, managed care and payers.

Responsibilities

• Builds and sustains relationships with pharmacies, physicians and HCPs to resolve coverage problems.
• Works cross-functionally with RSMs, NADs, network pharmacies, and market access teams.
• Provides training to HCPs on payer coverage policies and documentation requirements.
• Introduces technology options for electronic Patient Access submissions and PA processes.
• Communicates payer issues to management and supports patient access initiatives.
• Interfaces with closed-door and LTC pharmacies, providing support and education.
• Presents payer coverage insights at internal business reviews and meetings.
• Conducts Patient Access workshops and assists with new hire training.
