Daikin Comfort Technologies Distribution, Inc. is seeking a professional, skilled individual for our Regional Parts Manager position in the Lafayette, LA region. This role involves coordinating the growth of parts and supplies for COD in both the Louisiana and Dallas regions. The person will be accountable for sales growth, margins, inventory and product management, and aftermarket activities, collaborating with TSMs, branch personnel, dealers, contractors, and local reps.

Responsibilities include:

• Calling on HVAC dealers and contractors, including training on GSD’s aftermarket products.
• Setting strategic direction and managing program execution for branch managers and CSRs.
• Supporting aftermarket business through sales, parts stocking, ordering, and program development.
• Developing and implementing sales plans to meet sales and margin objectives.
• Collaborating with local vendors and manufacturer representatives.
• Participating in projects supporting business needs.

Nature and Scope:

• Reports to the Regional Manager and VP, Parts.
• Leads regional aftermarket parts business within broad parameters.

Knowledge & Skills:

• HVAC product and dealer/contractor knowledge.
• Strong sales, customer relationship, and communication skills.
• Organizational, time management, and computer skills (MS Office).
• Team building and collaboration skills.
• Good judgment, work ethic, and integrity.

Experience:

• 5-10+ years in HVAC industry.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required; extensive experience (5+ years) in sales and HVAC can substitute.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment:

• Must perform responsibilities with or without accommodations.
• Travel required, approximately 60-70%, including overnight stays.
