Senator Jon Ossoff (D-GA) seeks a Regional Outreach Coordinator based in his Savannah office to manage the Senator's outreach efforts in the Coastal Georgia area. Primary responsibilities include representing the Senator at community events and engaging with a range of constituents and stakeholders on the Senator's behalf. Qualified candidates will have deep knowledge of the region and should have extensive professional experience in community outreach and/or government relations. Ideal candidates will be detail-oriented; able to work in a fast-paced environment; have excellent interpersonal, customer relations and writing skills; and possess a strong commitment to public service. To be successful, candidates should be self-motivated, able to work independently, and comfortable working as part of a large, highly coordinated team.
The position requires travel throughout the Coastal region as well as meetings and events during evenings and weekends. The starting annual salary range for this position is $60,000 to $65,000 with eligibility for Senate benefits.
