Job summary

UC Davis seeks a Regional Outreach Coordinator to forge strategic educational partnerships across campus and community settings, guiding college access programs and parent/community engagement. You will monitor student progress and develop opportunities to foster a college-going culture in the region.

Under supervision, you will work with school partners, families, and campus colleagues to relay admissions and financial information, design outreach initiatives, and assess program impact for

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related area and relevant outreach experience.
• Two years of advising large numbers of diverse middle and high school students and knowledge of UC/ CSU admissions.
• Experience with program development, management, and evaluation of initiatives serving diverse communities.
• Ability to apply campus, county, state, and federal policies to education challenges and communicate to varied audiences.
• Familiarity with K-12 and California higher education systems.

Responsibilities

• 80% - Project Management, Implementation and Assessment of EAOP partnerships.
• 10% - Data Collection and Program Evaluation to improve outcomes.
• 10% - Public Relations and external communications with stakeholders.
