Job summary

Estes Express in the United States is seeking Regional OTR drivers to move freight between Estes Service Centers. Expect scheduled runs, frequent home time, and a supportive team that helps you succeed on every mile.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent background.
• 21 years of age per FMCSA; 1 year driving experience required.
• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Registered with FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse.
• Residence within 75 miles of domiciled Service Center/assignment.
• HazMat, Tanker and Doubles endorsements required.
• FMCSA English language requirements.
• Must pass FMCSA medical exam and road test.
• Authorized to work in United States.

Responsibilities

• Operate all types of equipment to perform safety functions.
• Safely operate tractor/trailer per FMCSA rules.
• Adhere to FMCSA CDL requirements.
• Maintain records per regulations.
• Transport hazardous materials safely.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Report maintenance issues promptly.
• May use in-cab technology (ELD, etc.).
• Provide professional service and courteous customer interaction.
• May work different schedules and dock shifts as needed.
• Interact well with customers and the public.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
