Job summary

Revolution Field Strategies is seeking Regional Organizing Directors to build and manage regional canvassing programs. You will supervise Canvass Managers and all regional canvassers, report to the Project Director, and travel to project locations as required.

Salary ranges from $65,000 to $78,000 and includes full health care, dental, and vision benefits for full-time staff. This role involves in-person work across regions and requires strong leadership and travel flexibility.

Qualifications

• Prior organizing experience preferred (paid, volunteer, or internship)
• Management experience preferred
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with a team
• Ability and willingness to work a demanding schedule, including 70+ hours per week at peak times including evenings and weekends
• Must possess a cell phone and laptop
• Must have ready access to personal transportation and provide proof of driver’s insurance
• Must be able to travel and relocate to project locations across the country on short notice; travel, lodging, and expenses provided
• Familiarity with Google Suite and VAN is preferred

Role Description

Revolution Field Strategies (RFS) is seeking talented, driven individuals for the role of Regional Organizing Director (ROD), who will be responsible for building, managing, and leading regional teams for canvassing programs. RODs will work with program leadership to develop high-quality, efficient programs across the region. RODs will directly manage in-office staff, including Canvass Managers, as well as oversee all voter registration canvassers in their respective region.

Regional Organizing Directors will report directly to their Project Director. This role is in person and the applicant will be required to travel to the project location for the duration of the project. Salaries for this position range from $65,000 to $78,000 based on experience and skill set.

Compensation And Benefits

The salary range for this position is $65,000 to $78,000 depending on experience and skill sets. RFS offers all full-time employees who remain with our team for more than three months full health care, dental, and vision benefits.

Regional Organizing Directors are considered Temporary Full-Time Employees, meaning they are expected to work full-time (40 or more hours per week) for a defined period of time, typically the length of the project.

Any job-related travel, lodging, and other expenses are paid for by RFS.
