Job summary

Revolution Field Strategies (RFS) is seeking a Regional Organizing Director to build and lead regional teams for voter registration projects. This in-person role requires travel to project locations and reports to the Project Director. Salary ranges from $65,000 to $78,000 based on experience.

Responsibilities include developing strategic operations with state leadership, coaching regional teams, analyzing reports, and ensuring goals are met while engaging the community across assigned regions.

Qualifications

• Prior organizing experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with a team.
• Ability and willingness to work a demanding schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Must possess a cell phone and laptop.
• Must have access to personal transportation and provide proof of driver’s insurance.
• Must be able to travel/relocate to project locations across the country; travel and lodging expenses are provided by RFS.
• Familiarity with Google Suite and VAN is preferred.

Role Description

Revolution Field Strategies (RFS) is seeking talented, driven individuals for the role of Regional Organizing Director (ROD) who will be responsible for building, managing, and leading regional teams for a voter registration project. RODs will work with program leadership to develop high-quality, innovative programs for a broad, diverse set of clients and partners.

Regional Organizing Directors will report directly to their Project Director. This role is in person and the applicant will be required to travel to the project location for the duration of the project. Salaries for this position range from $65,000 to $78,000 based on experience and skill set.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with state leadership to develop and implement all components of a strategic voter registration operation in Milwaukee, WI.

Lead, coach, and manage the day-to-day activities of the regional team, overseeing all aspects training and team member accountability

Analyze daily and weekly reports to track progress to goals and implement rigorous quality control measures

Work to ensure all regional goals are met

Execute successful and meaningful engagement with the community

Experience, Requirements and Skills

Prior organizing experience preferred (paid, volunteer, or internship)

Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with a team

Ability and willingness to work a demanding schedule, which can reach 70+ hours per week at peak times and can be expected to include evenings and weekends.

Must possess a cell phone and laptop

Must have ready access to personal transportation and will be required to provide proof of driver’s insurance

Must be able to travel and/or relocate to project locations across the country on short notice; travel, lodging, and other related expenses are provided by RFS.

Familiarity with Google Suite and VAN is preferred

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $65,000 to $78,000 depending on experience and skill sets. RFS offers all full-time employees who remain with our team for more than three months full health care, dental, and vision benefits.

Regional Organizing Directors are considered Temporary Full-Time Employees, meaning they are expected to work full-time (40 or more hours per week) for a defined period of time, typically the length of the project.

Any job-related travel, lodging, and other expenses are paid for by RFS.
