Job summary
Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Senior Regional Leader to oversee multiple facilities in the Portland area, directing budget, people development and operations to drive cost down and improve performance. You will coach, mentor and build leadership bench strength while maintaining a bias for action and strong ownership.
The role requires 7+ years in global supply chain or related operations, a bachelor’s or advanced degree, and the ability to lead across sites, shifts and functions.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of Global Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Production/Procurement, Distribution, Logistics or related environment/operations experience.
- Experience in a Global Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Production/Procurement, Distribution, Logistics or related environment/operations.
- Advanced degree or MBA is preferred for this leadership role.
Responsibilities
- Drives creation of quality initiatives, process changes and Lean initiatives that meet or exceed the business plan.
- Oversees overall safety, quality, performance and customer experience of facilities.
- Measures performance, provides feedback and holds leaders accountable for results.
- Ensures best practices are shared across departments, shifts and the network.
- Collaborates with HR, Finance, Ops Integration, Loss Prevention and other leaders to secure resources for projects.
