Job Summary
A Regional Operations Manager will be responsible for all commercial activities and execution of strategies within their defined region. The focus will be on key urology accounts and relevant institutions including hospitals, ASCs & clinics. They will be required to understanding the unique market opportunities of their geography including reimbursement, health care delivery models, transitions of care and patient pathways. They will be charged with strategic planning for their region in conjunction with their RBD and the development of detailed business plans to ensure the execution of business strategy.
The ROM will also be responsible for ensuring that target accounts within their geography understand the necessary steps to operationalize UroGen products, minimize access and operational barriers for patients and providers when ordering UroGen products, consistent with company compliance policies, company procedures, and approved materials. The focus will be on key urology accounts and relevant institutions including hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers.Job Requirements• Bachelor’s degree in related field required
• Minimum of 6 years pharmaceutical, biotech or medical device experience
• 2 years hospital or large account experience preferred
• 2 years Urology experience preferred
• Operational experience with EMR systems/ Onboarding of accounts to new products, and building electronic pathways – highly preferred
• Consistent track record of performance
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills required
• Ability to communicate cross functionally and within the region to share results, assist in training and develop best practices
• Resourceful, creative, enthusiastic, and results-oriented
• Ability to travel 50%+ of the time with overnight stays required
• Valid driver’s license required.Job Responsibilities• Collaboration of a cross-functional team including Territory Business Managers, market access managers and certified nurse educators.
• Develop and leverage relationships with key customers throughout the region.
• Effective account management for both large and small Urology, hospital and pharmacy accounts
• Responsible for meeting the product delivery needs of each customer
• Translating strategies into actionable plans at the regional level
• Demonstrate an expertise in the disease state, the product, the surgical process and the reimbursement process
• Utilize business analytics, marketplace and disease state knowledge along with clinical and customer knowledge to develop and implement and effective regional level business plan
• Organize and completing administrative responsibilities in an efficient and timely manner including but not limited to call reporting, expense reporting, communications and account documentation
