Regional Operations Manager

The primary function of the Regional Operations Manager is to oversee day-to-day construction field operations for our concrete construction projects. The ideal candidate will manage crews, coordinate schedules, ensure quality control, enforce safety standards, and drive productivity across multiple jobsites. This role is critical in ensuring that all field activities align with project timelines, budgets, and company standards.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Planning and coordination of field talent during project setup.
• Responsible for coordination of forecasting with field superintendents for project manager.
• Moving/scheduling manpower and equipment.
• Assisting in equipment planning/purchasing and maintenance.
• Training and certification for field crews.
• Understands and holds superintendent accountable for scheduling.
• Responsible for the overall outcome of all field operations.
• Quality control.
• Dispute resolution.
• Coordinate with other regions to understand manpower needs and availability.
• Ensure/enforce all daily tasks are executed, time/daily/planning.
• Attend field operations meetings as needed/required.
• Preconstruction meetings.
• Customer relations.
• Mentor field superintendents.
• Ensure all extras and information is provided to PM (T&M tickets, etc.).
• Close out meetings.
• Field recruiting and hiring.
• Coordinate and development of relationships with vendors/suppliers/subcontractors.
• Attend monthly cost review meetings.

Qualifications:

• Experience as a traveling Regional Operations Manager in concrete construction with tilt-up.
• Strong knowledge of construction principles/practices.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and leadership skills.
• Experience with Microsoft office, Bluebeam, and Procore preferred.
• Proactive, positive, and innovative attitude.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Good verbal and written communications.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
