Job summary
Aecon Utilities is seeking a senior leader to oversee regional financial and operational performance across assigned territories. You will develop bidding and pricing strategies to hit revenue and margin targets, while providing strategic direction aligned with corporate objectives.
Responsibilities include monitoring results, guiding project execution, and mentoring management teams. You will build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and unions, ensuring safety and performance
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, business, or related discipline.
- Extensive experience in Utility contracting and civil construction.
- Strong PM, leadership, and financial oversight capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Accountable for financial and operational performance of assigned regions.
- Develop and execute bidding and pricing strategies.
- Provide leadership and strategic direction.
- Monitor regional performance and report results to senior leadership.
- Oversee project execution and resolve issues.
- Lead and mentor management teams.
- Manage budgets and monthly financial reports.
- Build relationships with clients, subcontractors, and unions.
- Lead contract negotiations and stakeholder communications.
- Supervise Superintendents and field operations.
- Ensure compliance with policies and safety standards.
