Job summary

VCA Animal Hospitals seeks a Regional Operations Director to lead performance, culture, and clinical excellence across the assigned region. You will guide hospital leaders, drive growth, and ensure top‑tier medical outcomes and client experiences.

You will partner with the Group VP and Medical Operations to implement enterprise programs and sustain high‑trust environments while delivering sustainable business results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in healthcare, business, or related field.
• 8+ years driving multi‑unit operational performance with end‑to‑end P&L responsibility.
• Advanced digital fluency with productivity platforms and cloud tools.
• Strong data analytics skills with Excel/Power BI to drive decisions.
• Proficient in English; willing to relocate if needed.

Responsibilities

• Own regional P&L and KPIs; coach leaders to improve results.
• Drive hospital performance by expanding services and optimizing capacity.
• Elevate medical quality while maintaining patient outcomes and data accuracy.
• Lead pricing, discount governance, and fee structures aligned with goals.
• Use data and insights to guide decisions and mitigate risk.
• Drive regional finance through budgeting, cash control, and labor management.
• Coach leaders, share best practices, and foster culture of excellence.
• Partner with GVP and Medical Operations to align priorities.
