Job summary

Washington Department of Fish & Wildlife (WDFW) in Ridgefield, WA, seeks a Regional Operations Manager to oversee facilities and operations. You will supervise the Customer Service and Administrative Team and manage regional budgets, striving for continuity of essential administrative functions and safety programs.

The role requires leadership, collaboration with the Regional Director, and expertise in budget, facilities, and COOP planning.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 5 years of office experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or public administration plus 2 years of office experience.
• One year as Administrative Assistant 4.
• Two years as Administrative Assistant 3.
• One year leading, supervising, or directing others.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Experience with state government and facilities management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee facilities and business operations for regional HQ.
• Supervise Customer Service and Administrative Team.
• Manage complex operating and facility budgets and COOP implementation.
• Represent the region on committees and workgroups.
• Coordinate contracted services for maintenance and improvements, including permits and security.
• Ensure space utilization and modern work environment standards.
• Prepare regional budget to inform agency-wide decisions.
• Provide leadership to promote a diverse and inclusive workplace.
