The State of Washington is seeking a Regional Operations Manager for the WDFW Director’s Office – Region 5, based in Ridgefield, WA. The role oversees facilities and business operations, providing strategic guidance to the Regional Director and supervising the Customer Service and Administrative Team.

Responsibilities include budget development, policy support, cross-program process improvements, and ensuring continuity of operations.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent with five years of office/administrative experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration or closely related field with two years of experience.
• One year as Administrative Assistant 4.
• Two years as Administrative Assistant 3.
• One year leading, supervising, or directing others.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee facilities and business operations for regional headquarters and other regional properties.
• Act as project manager for regional facility short- and long-term objectives and manage the full project lifecycle.
• Ensure space utilization and modern work environment standards and coordinate access to office resources for regional staff.
• Develop, oversee, and manage operational, administrative, and facility budgets at the regional level.
• Coordinate contracts and improvements for regional facilities including permitting, construction, data, engineering, maintenance, and security.
• Oversee cash control procedures, petty cash reconciliation, and licensing accounts.
• Lead implementation of Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP) and establish facility security measures with regional leadership.
• Supervise regional customer service specialists and administrative staff; oversee hiring, onboarding, and mentorship.
