ElectriCom Inc. seeks an Operations Director to lead the Regional Midwest operations from the Arkansas/Tennessee/Oklahoma/Louisiana area, focusing on safety, financial performance, and customer relationships. The role drives business development and builds a capable team supporting regional projects.

The successful candidate will oversee construction activities, manage budgets, and collaborate with central office functions while advancing telecom sector engagements. Strong leadership essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Engineering or Construction Management.
• 10–15+ years of telecommunications construction experience.
• Strong understanding of project management concepts and collaboration with PM teams.
• Excellent managerial, administrative, and analytical skills.
• Proven business development experience in the telecommunications sector.
• Proficiency with data management systems (e.g., Power BI).
• Ability to travel up to 50%.
• Advanced knowledge of public right-of-way requirements and ISP/OSP Fiber Plant deployments, MOT.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a strong regional presence through customer relationships and project performance.
• Manage customer relations, expand customer base via bids and negotiated work.
• Provide leadership in directing and managing construction activities within the region.
• Build and develop an internal team supporting up to $20M in annual revenue.
• Approve expenditures and control operating budget per project estimates.
• Review project trends with financial analyst and address performance issues.
• Maintain relationships with key personnel in telecom sectors.
• Champion safety culture and act as regional safety leader for teams.
• Communicate project details clearly to internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate with contracts, payroll and administration.
