Job summary

ElectriCom Inc. seeks an Operations Director to lead the Regional Midwest operations, ideally based in Arkansas, Tennessee, Oklahoma or Louisiana. You will drive safety, financial performance, and customer relations while guiding construction activities and budgeting for the region.

The role requires strong leadership, project management, and business development skills, with travel up to 50% to manage diverse projects across multiple states.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management is preferred.
• 10–15+ years of telecom/construction experience with data networking.
• Proven ability to manage projects, budgets, and teams.
• Experience in business development within telecom sectors.
• Proficiency with data systems and Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a strong regional presence through customer relationships and project performance.
• Manage customer relations, expand the customer base, and pursue bid and negotiated work.
• Provide leadership for construction activities within the region for a utility contractor.
• Lead an internal team supporting up to $20M in annual revenue and monitor budgets.
• Approve expenditures and maintain project estimates and budget controls.
• Collaborate with finance to review project trends and take corrective actions.
• Build relationships with key personnel in utility sectors and right‑of‑way services.
• Champion safety and act as regional safety leader for teams and personnel.
• Communicate project details clearly to stakeholders; coordinate with contracts and payroll.
