Job summary

Zuma is a contemporary Japanese restaurant collection with venues in major North American cities. We are seeking a Director of Operations to lead and support regional performance across Zuma restaurants, partnering with General Managers and Executive Chefs to drive excellence in service, guest experience, and financial results.

The role requires at least 7 years of multi-unit operations leadership in high-volume hospitality, with strong budgeting, forecasting, and leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive restaurant operations leadership within high-volume, premium or luxury hospitality.
• Experience leading General Managers and senior leadership across multiple locations.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, labor costs, and P&L performance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and support day-to-day regional operations across the region, ensuring consistency in standards.
• Partner with General Managers and Executive Chefs to drive performance and provide hands-on support as needed.
• Monitor financial and operational performance including revenue, labor, COGS, profitability, and KPIs.
