Job summary

VCA Animal Hospitals seeks a Regional Operations Director to drive performance and culture across 14 hospitals in the DC metro and Northern Virginia area. You will lead regional P&L, coach hospital leaders, and partner with Medical and Ops leaders to ensure high-quality care and superior client experiences.

The role requires 8+ years in multi-site operations, strong data fluency (Excel/Power BI), and willingness to travel nationwide up to 75%. A MBA/DVM is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or MBA or DVM or healthcare degree with multi-unit ops experience.
• 8+ years driving regional P&L and end-to-end operational performance.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver regional P&L and KPIs with hospital leadership accountability.
• Drive performance by identifying growth opportunities and optimizing capacity.
• Coach leaders to improve doctor productivity while upholding medical quality.
• Collaborate with Marketing on region-specific initiatives and brand plans.
