Job summary

Incyte seeks an Area Director to lead the Oncology Clinical Nurse Educator team across a defined geography. This field-based role focuses on coaching, training, and mentoring to promote excellence in field execution within oncology education.

You will hire and develop OCNE staff, collaborate on strategy with the National Director, and drive compliant partnerships across sales, medical, and other teams, supporting a high-performing, inclusive culture.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree or equivalent experience is required; advanced nursing qualifications preferred.
• Active RN license or Advanced Practice License required.
• Extensive hematology/oncology experience in clinical practice and pharma settings.
• Senior level education experience preferred; diverse backgrounds encouraged to apply.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% with accommodations for disabilities.
• Proficiency with MS Office and database applications; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach OCNE team members to meet product strategy and field goals.
• Develop and maintain strategic territory plans for the OCNE region.
• Partner with National Director to set annual performance goals and metrics.
• Provide career development and internal networking opportunities for the team.
• Ensure compliant partnerships across customer-facing teams and complete admin duties.
