Job summary

Summit Physical Therapy is seeking a Floating Office Coordinator to provide coverage for Office Coordinators across Chattanooga, Knoxville, and North Georgia. The role includes insurance verification, patient account audits, and front-office tasks while traveling to multiple locations.

You will handle intake/registration, manage phone lines, and ensure accurate patient charts and deposits. A high school diploma and 2+ years of customer service are required, with occasional Saturdays possible.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service experience (required)
• Basic understanding of medical insurance benefits (preferred)
• Ability to multitask

Responsibilities

• Provide as needed coverage for all OCs across all regions
• Opening and closing tasks
• Phone management
• Creation and management of electronic patient charts
• Completing intake/registration/processing of new patients
• Insurance benefits verification
• Insurance authorization submission and tracking
• Collecting copays, deductible, and co-insurance payments
• Managing accurate bank deposits
• Audit electronic patient accounts for accuracy
