Job summary

Abby Care is hiring a Senior Director of Nursing/Administrator to provide strategic, multi-state clinical leadership and governance across a designated region. You will coach local Directors of Nursing to ensure patient care, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency, reporting to the Head of Clinical Operations.

This full-time remote role is based in Central or Eastern Time Zones, with travel to Abby Care markets as needed.

Responsibilities

• Executive Report Outs: Own aggregation, analysis, and presentation of regional clinical and quality metrics to the exec team.
• Strategic Alignment: Translate clinical strategies into standardized operational practices across markets.
• Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with HR, Compliance, Finance, Product/IT for optimized operations.
• Macro Capacity Planning: Oversee regional capacity models to support census growth and service line expansion.
• Leadership Development: Standardize onboarding and growth pathways for local DONs/Administrators.
• Retention & Culture: Monitor turnover and burnout; implement region-wide clinician well-being strategies.
• Regional Quality Ownership: Drive regional performance against QA/QAPI initiatives and benchmarks.
• Clinical Escalations & Edge Cases: Review and escalate high-risk events with cross-functional partners.
• Root Cause & Corrective Strategy: Lead regional RCA and systemic improvements with compliance.
• Regulatory Surveys: Prepare for state/federal surveys; coordinate POC approvals.
