Job summary

Amerita, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, seeks a Regional Director of Nursing to lead nursing operations across Texas and adjacent states, ensuring high-quality patient care and regulatory compliance.

You will hire, coach, and evaluate nurse managers, manage continuing education, and drive performance improvement in collaboration with the Director of Clinical Services and Pharmacy Operations, with 30–50% travel within the region.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Valid nursing license in state(s) of practice.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
• Flexibility to travel within the region (30–50%).

Responsibilities

• Oversees and manage the nursing departments in the region to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
• Ensures that nursing services are provided to patients in a professional and appropriate manner and in compliance with company policies and procedures, state and federal regulatory requirements and accepted clinical standards.
• Provides leadership and guidance to nursing staff in collaboration with the Director of Clinical Services – Nursing and the Director of Pharmacy Operations.
• Collaborates with nurse managers to optimize workflow and streamline processes.
• Oversees patient care coordination with the pharmacy staff and with outside nursing agencies as indicated.
• Oversees hiring, coaching, performance appraisal, supervision, and discipline of the nurse managers in the region.
• Oversees coordination of activities of the nursing staff.
• Analyzes key performance indicators (KPIs) and clinical outcomes to identify trends and areas for improvement.
