Job summary

Valley-Wide Health Systems, Inc. is seeking a Regional Director of Nursing to lead clinical operations across multiple clinics in southern Colorado. The role focuses on high-quality, patient-centered care in an FQHC setting and supports site-level nursing leadership.

The role requires extensive nursing leadership, HRSA compliance, and collaboration with medical, behavioral health, and administrative teams to drive quality and effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nursing or RN with an active Colorado license.
• Minimum 5 years nursing experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role within an FQHC or similar setting.
• Experience with quality improvement and multi-site leadership.
• Strong understanding of HRSA requirements and compliance standards.
• Travel ability within the region.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct leadership and mentorship to RN Leads, Educators, and Lab Coordinators across multiple Valley-Wide sites.
• Standardize nursing workflows and evidence-based practices across the region.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives aligned with HRSA, UDS measures, and PCMH standards.
• Participate in clinical policy development and annual review cycles.
• Collaborate with Regional Directors of Operation and other leaders.
