Job summary

Outcome HC is seeking a Regional Director of Nursing (DON) / Nurse Consultant to lead regional compliance across skilled nursing facilities. You will supervise nursing staff, develop compliant clinical systems, and ensure adherence to federal and state regulations while promoting resident rights and quality care.

The role requires strong leadership, documentation review expertise, and the ability to drive cross-functional improvement within a regulatory framework.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Seven years' technical experience preferred.
• Five years' experience leading health care regulatory and compliance functions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee clinical operations of SNFs, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Conduct documentation reviews for accuracy and best practices.
• Lead nurse management and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Develop clinical systems and SOPs to ensure quality and compliance.
• Monitor risk assessments, audits and corrective action plans.
• Establish and administer processes for complaints and investigations.
