Job summary

JumpstartMD in California is seeking a Regional Nurse Practitioner to support weight management and cardiometabolic health across Monterey and Santa Cruz. You will lead a small team of health coaches and member care coordinators, conduct 1:1 consultations, perform exams, order labs, and ensure accurate records.

This full-time, non-exempt role requires licensure as an NP or PA in California, DEA registration, and ability to pass a background check.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited NP or PA program.
• California licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• DEA Registration Certificate.
• OIG Clearance and NPI number.
• Background check clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct 1:1 member consultations for weight loss under JumpstartMD program.
• Provide routine patient care including examinations, screenings, and medication administration.
• Maintain up-to-date patient records and order/evaluate lab tests.
• Follow up with patients and respond to post-visit inquiries.
• Support team with medical and program-related questions and training.
