Job summary

Legacy Healthcare in Iowa is seeking a Regional Director of Nursing to lead nursing operations across facilities and maintain the high standard of resident care our team delivers.

As acting Director of Nursing you will set Nursing Department goals, mentor the clinical team, ensure regulatory compliance, and may perform DON, ADON and MDS duties while traveling to Iowa locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in science, nursing or related field; RN license.
• Minimum 5 years RN experience and experience managing a department.
• Prior DON or SNF management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide DON coverage across Iowa facilities as needed.
• Inspire the clinical team and oversee all nursing department functions.
• Set and attain Nursing Department goals and ensure high standard of care.
