Job summary

Legacy Healthcare seeks a Mobile Director of Nursing to travel across Iowa and serve as acting Director of Nursing, leading the Clinical Department and maintaining the high standard of care our residents expect.

This PRN role requires an Iowa RN license, 5 years of RN experience, and prior nursing management in skilled nursing. An Associate’s Degree is required, Bachelor’s preferred; strong problem solving and staff leadership expected.

Qualifications

• Unencumbered RN license in Iowa.
• Minimum 5 years RN experience with prior department leadership.
• Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's preferred.

Responsibilities

• Travel to multiple Iowa locations to cover DON needs.
• Lead Nursing Department as acting DON and oversee clinical operations.
• Set and attain Nursing Department goals and mentor staff.
