Job summary

Ascentria Care Alliance seeks a Regional Nurse Consultant (RN) to partner with skilled nursing communities across Massachusetts and Connecticut. In this leadership role, you will mentor Directors of Nursing, strengthen clinical operations, and drive quality outcomes to deliver resident-centered care.

This position requires an active RN license in MA/CT, 5+ years of nursing leadership, and 3+ years as Director of Nursing in a skilled nursing setting, with strong CMS regulatory expertise.

Qualifications

• Current RN license with eligibility to practice in Massachusetts and Connecticut.
• Five or more years of progressive nursing leadership experience.
• At least three years of successful Director of Nursing experience in a skilled nursing setting.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Directors of Nursing to elevate clinical performance and resident outcomes.
• Support survey readiness, regulatory compliance, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Analyze clinical data and identify opportunities to improve CMS Five-Star performance.
• Coach, develop, and mentor nursing leaders across multiple communities.
• Lead clinical turnarounds and support operational excellence.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic clinical initiatives and workforce planning.

What You’ll Do
