Job summary

Elderwood Administrative Services is seeking an experienced Regional Nurse Consultant (RN) to strengthen clinical leadership across Western New York facilities and beyond. This field-based role partners with DONs, Administrators and regional leadership to improve resident outcomes and regulatory readiness.

Ideal candidates bring DON-level experience, strong regulatory knowledge, and proven ability to mentor nursing leaders while traveling regionally.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in New York State
• Experience as Director of Nursing or regional clinical leader
• Strong knowledge of skilled nursing operations and regulatory requirements
• Proven ability to mentor nursing leaders and influence performance
• Experience supporting survey readiness and quality-improvement initiatives

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical guidance and oversight to multiple SNF facilities
• Partner with DONs and Administrators to evaluate priorities and strengthen nursing operations
• Coach and mentor DONs, ADONs and other nursing leaders
• Support onboarding and development of newly hired Directors of Nursing
• Help facilities maintain survey readiness and respond to regulatory findings
• Review quality indicators and clinical outcomes with facility leadership
• Develop and execute corrective-action and performance-improvement plans
• Promote consistent clinical standards and documentation across facilities
• Support staffing, resident safety, quality and infection prevention priorities
• Facilitate communication between facility teams, regional operations and corporate leadership
