Job summary

Kalesta Healthcare Group is seeking a Regional Nurse Consultant to own clinical operations and regulatory compliance across several Central Valley SNFs. You will partner with Directors of Nursing and Administrators to drive improvement work and raise care standards across sites.

This role requires leadership at the DON level and the ability to operate across a portfolio. You will oversee clinical operations, ensure regulatory compliance at federal, state and local levels, and mentor DONs and

Qualifications

• Active RN license to practice in California.
• 5+ years as DON in SNF with regulatory experience.
• Proven ability to drive quality improvement and ensure regulatory compliance.

The Role

We’re looking for a Regional Nurse Consultant to own clinical operations and regulatory compliance across several Central Valley SNFs. You’ll partner directly with Directors of Nursing and Administrators—not just advising, but driving the improvement work. This is a high-impact role for someone who has led at the DON level and is ready to operate across a portfolio.

What You’ll Own

• Clinical operations oversight across multiple skilled nursing facilities
• Regulatory compliance — federal, state, local — including infection control and incident management
• Quality improvement — building and tracking performance metrics that move the needle
• Mentorship and development of DONs and clinical staff at each site
• Regular site audits and inspections with clear, actionable findings
