Job summary

Educational Service District 112 in Washington seeks a Network Engineer II to design, configure, and monitor wired and wireless LANs across districts. You will provide level 2 troubleshooting, create network documentation, and coordinate hardware procurement.

This is a full-time, year-round role requiring travel to districts and occasional extended hours; salary ranges from $107,993.60 to $131,393.60 with offers at the beginning of the range.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of relevant networking experience.
• Experience with TCP/IP, PPP, NAT, SIP, RTP, DNS, DHCP, Ping, Telnet, Trace Route, SSH and protocol analyzers.
• Experience in securing wired and wireless networks and hardening devices.
• Experience with copper and fiber cabling and testing standards.
• Experience configuring switches and firewalls and managing IP addressing.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, monitor and maintain wired and wireless LANs.
• Provide level 2 troubleshooting of network and system components.
• Create and maintain documentation of client and agency networks.
• Coordinate procurement, vendor relations, and hardware/software purchasing.
• Collaborate with staff to manage LAN services, email, remote access, and Internet access.
