Job summary

Merck & Co., Inc. seeks a Growth and Improvement minded Regional Medical Scientific Director (MSL) in Inflammatory Bowel Disease Immunology to drive strategic priorities.

The role covers northern Texas (Dallas) with up to 50% travel; remote work options available; credentialed leader in Medical Affairs. You will engage with national/regional SLs, provide scientific information, support research programs, and contribute to scientific exchange and congress activities while upholding GCP/SOP

Qualifications

• PhD/Dr or equivalent required.
• Experience in Immunology and IBD preferred.
• Strong communications and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops professional relationships with national and regional SLs to share approved medical information.
• Conducts peer-to-peer scientific discussions and maintains medical contacts within the company.
• Addresses scientific questions and directs SL inquiries to appropriate resources.
• Keeps current knowledge of AOIs and therapeutic area developments.
