Job summary

Florida Department of Children and Families is seeking a Monitoring & Tech Assistance Analyst OPS to support regional SAMH programs. The role is not a telework position and requires in-office work, independent judgement, and attention to detail across multiple sections of the program office.

Responsibilities include providing technical assistance to regional and HQ SAMH staff and Managing Entities, monitoring compliance, developing monitoring tools, readiness monitoring, and disaster response

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience working in behavioral services.
• One year of experience writing formal business communications, including emails.
• Two years of experience implementing and managing complex projects.
• Bachelor’s degree from a college or university and four years of professional experience in behavioral health, public administration, or public health preferred.
• Professional experience as described above can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the preferred college education.

Responsibilities

• Provide related technical assistance to Regional and HQ SAMH staff, Managing Entities, and other stakeholders in person.
• Serve as an subject matter expert on the Managing Entity Continuing Oversight Team where applicable.
• Oversee compliance technical assistance and monitoring activities and provide related training.
• Perform regional Readiness Monitoring and subrecipient monitoring (desk reviews or on-site where needed).
• Draft, route, and track correspondence and monitor program requirements.

Education

Bachelor’s degree + 4 years related experience (preferred)
