Job summary

The Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) is hiring for the position of Monitoring & Tech Assistance Analyst OPS. This regional OPS role is based in Fort Lauderdale and will provide technical assistance, compliance monitoring, and coordination with SAMH program staff.

The incumbent will work in the office, collaborate across sections, and apply independent judgment to support program goals, with an emphasis on readiness and onsite monitoring in the SAMH program.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in behavioral services or related field.
• One year of experience writing formal business communications.
• Two years of experience managing complex projects.
• Bachelor’s degree and four years of professional experience preferred; substitutions allowed.
• Professional experience can substitute for college education year-for-year.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance to SAMH staff and stakeholders in person.
• Serve as SME on Continuing Oversight Team as specified in Section 287.057(26).
• Oversee compliance monitoring and training for SAMH programs.
• Coordinate regional Readiness Monitoring.
• Develop monitoring tools and document outcomes; conduct desk reviews or on-site monitoring as needed.
• Draft, route, and track correspondence.
• Perform other duties to meet departmental goals.
