Job summary

Detroit Regional Chamber seeks a results-driven Membership Sales Manager to grow memberships across Southeast Michigan. You will own the full sales cycle—from prospecting to close—engaging owners and executives with a consultative, value-based approach.

You will build relationships, deliver compelling proposals, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new members. This hybrid role emphasizes strategic outreach and measurable revenue growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years in B2B, consultative or membership sales.
• Ability to independently build pipeline and close complex deals.
• Executive-level communication and relationship management.
• Strong organization, forecasting, and data-driven selling.

Responsibilities

• Develop territory and account strategy to meet revenue goals.
• Build a robust pipeline through outbound prospecting and referrals.
• Lead discovery with owners and executives to map needs to membership levels.
• Deliver persuasive proposals highlighting value (access, events, resources).
• Manage end-to-end sales process including negotiations and onboarding handoff.
• Maintain CRM records, forecasts, and next steps for accountability.
• Represent the Chamber at regional events and partner cross-functionally.
