Job summary

Merck & Co., Inc. seeks a Regional Medical Scientific Director in Cardiopulmonary & Pulmonary Hypertension to drive scientific exchange and support data generation for company trials and ISP programs.

Qualifications

MD, PhD, PharmD or APP in Pulmonary Hypertension or related field is required.
Three years in biotech/pharmaceutical or healthcare environment.
Three years clinical and/or research in Cardiovascular & Pulmonary areas or five years as an MSL.

Responsibilities

Identify and manage relationships with national/regional clinical leaders and investigators.
Conduct peer-level scientific discussions and maintain a reliable presence for SLs.
Engage in non-product scientific discussions to inform R&D strategy.
Facilitate scientific exchange and integrate knowledge with actionable insights.
Communicate stakeholder opinions to Medical Affairs HQ to inform internal strategies.
Represent R&D at scientific meetings and post-congress debriefs.
