Job summary

R3 Wound Care & Hyperbarics is seeking a Medical Director to lead advanced wound care and HBOT across the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. This executive clinician guides clinical outcomes, mentors providers, enforces regulatory compliance, and partners with CMO/CEO to expand regional presence.

The role oversees up to seven mid-levels and staff, drives policies, participates in payer negotiations, and travels regionally to ensure seamless patient care and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or APP with leadership experience and board eligibility
• Active Texas license with prescriptive authority is required
• Strong knowledge of Medicare LCDs, payer guidelines, and wound care reimbursement

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical oversight for multiple sites and up to 7 mid-levels, nurses, and technicians
• Lead onboarding and staff development to maintain high-performance care
• Develop and update clinical policies and procedures for HBOT and wound care
• Collaborate with CMO/CEO and executives to optimize operations and growth
• Travel 10–20% across DFW clinics for coverage, training, and audits
• Ensure regulatory compliance and safety across all sites
