Job summary

Corewell Health East seeks a board-certified or board-eligible physician to serve as Medical Director of Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine within the Heart & Vascular Service Line. The role provides medical leadership and clinical oversight for inpatient and outpatient wound care and hyperbaric services.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Board certification/eligibility in relevant surgical specialty.
• Michigan medical license eligibility required.
• DEA registration eligibility required.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical leadership and clinical oversight for wound care and hyperbaric medicine services.
• Develop clinical pathways, protocols, and best practices.
• Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.
• Oversee quality, safety, regulatory compliance, and physician practice standards.
• Lead recruitment and onboarding of physicians; support program growth.
• Maintain active clinical practice while directing the program.
