Job summary

AMN Healthcare Physician Solutions seeks a Regional Medical Director to lead clinical operations across the Orlando and Tampa market. The role focuses on provider performance, quality outcomes, and operational execution for a multi-site outpatient network.

The position emphasizes hands-on leadership, improving geriatric care within a managed care model, and setting regional strategy with autonomy to shape schedules and clinics.

Qualifications

• MD/DO in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Board Certified.
• Active leadership experience (multi-site or multi-provider).
• Full-risk managed care / value-based care experience required.
• Spanish bilingual is required for provider and patient population.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage provider performance across multiple clinics.
• Ensure adherence to value-based care protocols and clinical workflows.
• Drive quality outcomes, risk-based performance, and patient engagement initiatives.
• Partner with operations to improve clinic performance and solve challenges.
• Support post-acquisition culture integration and provider retention.
• Conduct performance evaluations and coach providers.
• Maintain a hands-on presence within clinics and step in clinically when needed.
