Ladders is seeking a Regional Medical Director, Value and Access - West to lead regional payer and access engagement across the West in a remote capacity. This senior role guides scientific exchange to support evidence-based decision-making and translates clinical and health economic data into actionable insights.

You will engage health plan leaders, advise on reimbursement questions, and represent Medical Affairs at regional forums.

Formación

• Advanced clinical or scientific degree required.
• 10+ years in Medical Affairs, payer engagement, market access, HEOR/RWE, or managed care.
• Formal training in health economics or outcomes research preferred.

For our client, we are seeking a Regional Medical Director, Value and Access - West to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space.

This role will lead regional payer and access engagement across the West, serving as a senior scientific resource for complex reimbursement and coverage questions. The position will build trusted relationships with health plan leaders and guide non-promotional scientific exchange that supports evidence-based decision-making. It will also translate clinical and health economic data into actionable insights through advisory boards, scientific forums, and external stakeholder meetings.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $240,000 – $280,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a regional stakeholder engagement plan aligned with corporate priorities
• Build peer-to-peer scientific relationships with senior leaders across health plans and organizations
• Serve as the senior scientific contact for complex payer and reimbursement questions
• Lead balanced, non-promotional exchanges on clinical data and guidelines
• Plan and run payer advisory boards and scientific forums, capturing actionable insights
• Represent Medical Affairs at regional and national payer meetings

Qualifications

• Advanced clinical or scientific degree in a relevant discipline
• 10+ years of progressive experience in Medical Affairs, payer medical engagement, Market Access, HEOR/RWE, clinical development, or managed care
• Formal training or demonstrated expertise in health economics, outcomes research, population health, managed care, epidemiology, or health policy preferred
• Deep expertise in managed care, formulary decision-making, evidence-based medicine, and clinical trial methodology
• Strong business acumen, including project planning and resource allocation
